Your searches and location
Search text and the selected map area are sent to our service to find restaurants. Browser location access is optional: you can choose an area yourself. If you have allowed it, the map opens at your current location; a browser that forgets that permission is asked again only if you allowed it last time. Otherwise the map opens near the city your internet address suggests, which our hosting provider estimates for each request; we do not store it. Your location preference, whether you use your current location and appearance settings stay in your browser. Exact searches also stay in this tab’s local navigation history so you can return to them.
Shared links include filter choices and, when available, a public area. They omit your exact coordinates and search text. We do not intentionally send your precise location, saved restaurants or raw search text as advertising targeting fields.
Your account
Browsing never needs an account. To save restaurants or get reminders you sign in with Google or Apple. We then keep your name and email address as that provider shares them (Apple may give a private relay address instead of your own), the provider’s identifier for your sign-in (we keep no Google access token; for Apple, an encrypted token we use only to revoke our access when you delete your account), the restaurants you save and your reminders. Your browser or app keeps a sign-in cookie or token for up to 30 days, renewed while you use it. We use the account only to keep your saved places and reminders and to allow signed-in browsing more requests; we never send it to advertisers.
Delete your account in Settings at any time: we delete your name, email, sign-ins, saved restaurants, reminders and the push addresses they used, and ask Apple to revoke our access when you signed in with Apple. Signing out stops this device’s reminders. Sign out everywhere in Settings ends your sign-ins on every device and browser.
Reminders
Reminders need a signed-in account. If you ask to be reminded about a deal, your browser asks whether this site may send you notifications. With your permission it creates a push address for this browser, run by your browser’s maker (Google, Mozilla, Apple or Microsoft). We store that address and its keys with your account and the deal, restaurant and times you chose, so we can send the reminder; the address itself contains no name, email or location. Upstash, our scheduling provider, holds a reminder’s identifier until it is sent. Turn a reminder off on the deal or in Settings. We delete a reminder as soon as it is finished (sent for the last time, turned off, or its deal is gone), and a push address as soon as it has no reminders left or your browser reports that it no longer exists. Blocking notifications for this site in your browser stops them all.
Advertising
When advertising is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to deliver, measure and protect ads. Ads may relate to the page you are viewing or, where permitted by your privacy choices, your interests. Permission to find nearby restaurants is separate from advertising privacy choices.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on a visitor’s prior visits to this site and to other sites. Google’s use of advertising cookies lets Google and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and to other sites on the Internet. Google is the only advertising company whose ads we show: we do not work with any other advertising network.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent in a message from Google before advertising loads, and can change that choice later. Visitors in US states with privacy laws get an opt-out link, “Do not sell or share my personal information”, and the same choices are below. We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal.
Advertising is currently turned off.
To opt out of personalized advertising, use Google’s Ads Settings, or the industry opt-out pages at aboutads.info and the Network Advertising Initiative. You will still see ads, but they will not be based on your interests.

Product measurement
When measurement is enabled and your privacy choices permit it, we count visits, restaurant actions and advertising outcomes in daily totals. These counters do not contain account identifiers, exact coordinates, search text or your saved restaurant list. Operational services may process network information to deliver requests and prevent abuse. Advertising partners maintain their own measurement and privacy practices.
We also count page views and whether a visit reaches the map, as daily totals by kind of page (for example a city page or the map), with no cookie and nothing that identifies you or the exact page. To tell a visit apart, your browser tab keeps a small note in its temporary storage (the kind of page you started on and when you were last active) that is cleared when the tab closes and is never sent to us. For traffic sources and popular pages we use Cloudflare Web Analytics on our public pages only, never on the map, search results or settings; it sets no cookies and does not track you across sites (see Cloudflare Web Analytics).
Security checks
To keep the service available and stop automated copying, your browser completes an automatic security check from Cloudflare Turnstile before it loads deals on the map. On our other pages the check may run quietly in the background once the page has loaded, so the map is ready when you open it. Cloudflare processes information such as your IP address and browser details to run the check (see Cloudflare’s privacy policy). We then keep an anonymous access cookie in your browser for up to seven days; it does not identify you. To slow or pause unusually heavy use, we count requests per access cookie (per account when you are signed in) and per network address, stored only as one-way codes rather than the identifier or address itself, and these counts expire within about a week.
Your controls
You can deny browser location permission, remove saved restaurants, turn off reminders or block notifications, sign out or delete your account, change advertising choices and clear browser site data. Clearing site data removes locally stored preferences and searches and signs this browser out.
